Savernake Road Kitchen - A Characterful Family Kitchen in Hampstead

A wonderful family kitchen and next door boot room designed around a striking green island and softer surrounding cabinetry. The island is painted in Farrow and Ball Treron, set against fridge and oven runs in School House White, creating a beautifully balanced contrast that feels both grounded and light. Closed cabinetry - including a Fisher and Paykel built-in fridge freezer - keeps the look clean and uncluttered, with thoughtful touches throughout for a young family.

The brief was for a hard-working family kitchen with real character, and the deep Treron island delivers exactly that. The induction hob and oven stack sit neatly along one run, freeing up the island for prep, gathering, and the family sink, with three glass pendants hanging prettily above. A lovely shelf above the splashback offers a place to display few plants, while Corston antique brass handles and knobs add warmth throughout. Just beyond, a bespoke boot room in matching Treron keeps the practical chaos of family life nicely contained.
