Cornwall Grove Kitchen - A Smart Family Kitchen in Chiswick
Designed for a young family in Chiswick with the benefit of a client who has an excellent eye for design, there is so much thoughtful detail in this kitchen. Cabinetry in a soft Portland stone pale provides a calm backdrop, while a Farrow and Ball Breakfast Room Green island brings a gentle pop of colour that ties beautifully to the garden doors and beyond. Calacatta Vagli marble worktops and antique brass accessories lift the room and we think it’s really special.

The brief called for an elegant, family-friendly kitchen with personality. They also wanted a comfortable place to hang out with their young children and friends. They certainly achieved this! The sculpted Calacatta Vagli marble splashback rises behind the range cooker, paired with a hot water tap for everyday ease. Opposite, a long run of counter-height units topped with fluted glass cupboards displays crockery, illuminated to lovely effect. On the back wall of one run of cupboards, you'll find a pretty wallpaper lining inside - a small charming detail. Seating for four at the island makes it the natural heart of family life.
