Grove Avenue Kitchen - A Calm, Pretty Family Kitchen in Muswell Hill
Designed for a young family in Muswell Hill, this kitchen pairs a deep green island with softer cream cabinetry for a beautifully calm feel. The island and tall pantry run are painted in Farrow and Ball Studio Green, set against the opposite run in Slipper Satin. Marble worktops and brass detailing bring warmth, and a marble splashback with a brass gallery rail and shelf with multiple pretty brackets gives the room real character.

The brief was for a calm, characterful family kitchen, and the deep Studio Green island delivers exactly that, set against the soft Slipper Satin run opposite. A run of fluted-glass cabinetry adds lightness, while the range cooker sits beneath a marble splashback that rises up the wall. A pretty open shelf with bracket detailing offers a place to display favourite pieces, lifted by the warmth of a brass gallery rail and utensil hooks just below. Three glass pendants hang over the island, and the dark Studio Green tall pantry run ties beautifully into the Crittal doors leading to the garden beyond.
