Herbert Gardens Kitchen - A Bright, Colourful Kitchen in Kensal Rise

Designed for a young family in Kensal Rise, this kitchen is bold and bright with stunning arched Crittal door that floods the room with light. Pantry cupboards in Edward Bulmer Jonquil 40%, a generous island in Farrow and Ball India Yellow, and Little Greene Bronze Red on the oven run, fridge housing and banquette. Joinery in Edward Bulmer Whiting keeps the scheme balanced, and we think it's stunning.

About This Project

The brief was for a hard-working family kitchen full of colour and warmth. The large central island in India Yellow anchors the room, topped with a Statuario Gold worktop that catches the light pouring through the arched Crittal doors. Bronze Red on the oven run and banquette brings depth, while Jonquil pantry cupboards lift the whole scheme. Oak worktops tie-in with the warmth of the dining table, and a pantry larder with clear-glass doors with pretty shelving is homely.
