Rodway Road Kitchen - A Light-Filled Family Kitchen in Sundridge Park

Flooded with natural light and dressed in Little Greene's Portland Stone Pale, this shaker kitchen is calm and beautiful. Antique brass ironmongery add warmth throughout, while simple pendant lights and large sash windows onto the garden make it a gorgeously light room.

The brief called for a family kitchen that could handle the demands of daily life - dog included - without sacrificing an ounce of elegance. The layout is almost perfectly symmetrical, with tall cabinetry flanking an integrated fridge-freezer on the main run. A single fluted glass cupboard breaks the symmetry just enough to add interest. The oversized island offers exceptional storage, an induction hob, and comfortable seating for four at one end - the natural gathering point for the whole family. Generous quartz worktops and a Quooker tap keep everything functional and beautiful in equal measure. The floating shelf allows the display of pretty personal touches.
