Muncaster Road Kitchen & Cinema Room - A Special Project in Clapham
This was a special one - a wonderful kitchen plus detailed joinery work in the super cool basement. In the kitchen, soft sage green cabinetry, painted in Mylands Brompton Road, pairs with a dramatic marble worktop that rises into a full-height splashback. Warm brass ironmongery runs throughout, and a glazed display cabinet shows off glassware beautifully. Downstairs, the basement cinema and bar is a wonderful space for the whole family.
About This Project
The brief called for detailed design. This is a kitchen with real presence. A tall pantry cupboard hides an oak-lined interior behind sage green doors, while a full-height glazed cabinet displays glassware behind slim brass frames. Corston ironmongery ties every surface together. Downstairs, the basement is an extremely smart man cave - a bespoke bar and a fluted glass wine storage lit from within. The room was thankfully finished just in time for the World Cup.
