Nimrod Road Kitchen - A Pretty, Symmetrical Family Kitchen in Furzedown
Designed for a young family in Furzedown, this kitchen is beautifully symmetrical. Handpainted cabinetry in Mindful by COAT, a pale creamy taupe, is a calm backdrop for the sold oak island that sits firmly in the middle of the room. Marble worktops and splashbacks bring gentle drama and the delicate scalloped pendants are so pretty. Even the crockery in the counter top units matches rather nicely with the colour palette!
About This Project
The brief called for a beautiful and symmetrical family kitchen. The solid oak island sits firmly in the middle, its long side facing the sink run that's neatly bookended by two doors. Wide drawers on the kitchen side are perfect for pots and pans, with seating for four opposite. On the range wall, small cupboards flank the range cooker with fluted-glass counter-top cabinets either side, and a beautifully designed extractor hood sits in the centre. An oak shelf with antique brass brackets ties it all together - and even the crockery ties in!
