About Us

Fallow Workshops are makers of fine kitchens and cabinetry. We use traditional methods and sustainably sourced materials to achieve beautiful joinery of the highest quality. We specialise in high-quality shaker kitchens tailored to our clients’ needs.

As a small studio, we’re thoughtful about the projects we take on, which means every client gets our genuine time, attention and expertise from first sketch to final fitting.

We combine technical excellence with outstanding customer service to deliver exceptional projects. We are at an exciting early stage in our journey, scaling fast and benefiting from a fantastic growth trajectory driven by strong client referrals and increasing digital demand.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised graduate or early-career candidate to join us as we grow - someone eager to learn, quick to get stuck in, and proud to be part of a team that makes beautiful things.

The Role

This is a brilliant first role for someone who is organised, creative and excited by the world of interiors and design. You’ll work directly alongside Angus, one of Fallow Workshops’ founders, supporting him day-to-day across project coordination, client communications and marketing - helping keep things running smoothly as the business continues to grow.

Angus is an experienced designer and salesperson who is brilliant with clients - what he needs is a capable, proactive right-hand person to help him stay on top of a busy diary, keep projects on track, and ensure Fallow Workshops looks and feels as good online as it does in real life.

What the Role Involves

  • Managing Angus’s diary - helping him keep on top of his appointments, client consultations and site visits, and ensuring his time is well organised

  • Keeping client projects on track  monitoring milestones, chasing actions, updating records in our CRM and Asana, and flagging anything that needs attention

  • Supporting client communications - drafting emails, following up on enquiries, and ensuring clients always feel well looked after

  • Managing and growing our social media presence - working to Angus’s brief to create and schedule content across Instagram, Pinterest and other platforms that reflects our brand beautifully

  • Updating and maintaining our Squarespace website - adding new project photography, keeping content fresh and ensuring the site represents us at our best

  • Helping produce marketing materials - brochures, project case studies and other content using Canva or similar tools

  • General administrative support - preparing documents, managing files, ordering supplies and keeping the office running smoothly alongside the rest of the team

We’re Looking for Someone Who

  • Is highly organised and genuinely enjoys keeping things in order - lists, systems and a tidy inbox are their natural habitat

  • Has an eye for design and a genuine appreciation for quality, craft and considered interiors

  • Is comfortable and confident communicating with clients - warm, professional and good at representing a premium brand

  • Has a creative flair and understands what good content looks like - for social media, for a website, and for printed materials

  • Is proactive and uses their initiative - spotting what needs doing and doing it, without needing to be asked twice

  • Writes clearly and confidently - whether that’s a client email, a caption or a brief

  • Is happy working independently as well as part of a small, close-knit team

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

  • A degree or qualification in design, marketing, business or a related field

  • Experience managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram or Pinterest

  • Familiarity with Canva, Squarespace, or CRM and project management tools such as Asana

  • An interest in photography or visual content creation

  • Any previous experience in an administrative, marketing or customer-facing role - even part-time or voluntary

What We Offer

  • A creative, fun and supportive working environment in a small, passionate team

  • Broad, hands-on experience across project coordination, marketing and client care

  • 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

  • The opportunity to grow with a fast-moving business from the very start of your career

  • Expenses paid internship

  • Working directly with a founder - real responsibility from day one
